Objectives

  • Introduce and disseminate plant species that are Environmentally friendly, Income generating, and source of Energy, with special emphasis on Jatropha curcas
  • Promote Sustainable Agricultural practices  and introduce best farming techniques in rural communities
  • Promote the production and utilization of Biofuels and renewable energy systems in rural communities
  • Encourage the cultivation of useful under-utilised cash crops that have economic potentials
  • Educate and train farmers, community groups and members  on Jatropha cultivation systems, sustainable  and conservation agriculture, and renewable energy systems
  • Achive the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) within the rural communities of the NorthWest province of Cameroon and beyond
  • Introduce and Promote the Jatropha System in the rural communities and promote the development of local industries
  • Use Jatropha curcas as a tool for reaforestation, combating Desertification, Soil erosion, Biodiverstiy loss and negative climate change.
